Stargates (also known as portals) are powerful teleportation tools that can greatly improve your logistics and mobility across the HWS universe. You can get Stargates in two ways:

• 🚀 Purchase certain HWS Garage ships (coming soon™)

✨ How to Redeem Your Stargates

If you purchased the "Pair of PvE Stargates" package, use the following in-game command to receive your two Stargates:

⚙️ Linking Your Stargates

You link your Stargates yourself on HWS Connect, no ticket needed:

1. Place your Stargates and give each one a name in its control panel (unnamed Stargates can't be linked)
2. Open the Structure Commander (NA players: /rn/structures), click Manage on the structure with the Stargate and open the Stargates tab
3. The tab lists the Stargates in that structure and where each one leads. Pick the destination under Lead to … and click Link
4. The game sets the destination within a minute or two. Your Inbox tells you when it is done, or why it could not be linked

• Each pair you bought lets you link 2 Stargates. The tab shows how many you have linked already
• A link goes one way: for a two-way connection, link Stargate A to B and Stargate B to A
• Don't see a Stargate you placed in the dropdown? Open the Stargates tab of that structure once, so it is scanned
• The tab also tells you when a playfield doesn't allow Stargates or when a Stargate was changed less than a week ago

📌 Important Rules & Restrictions

• 🔁 Stargates work only from Ship ➝ Base or Base ➝ Base. ❌ You cannot teleport from a Base to a Ship (SV/CV/HV).
• 🛡️ Stargates are only allowed on permanent PvE playfields. If you place them in PvP zones, you will lose them with no refund.
• 🌐 Stargates can connect to your Supporter Planet or Space, if applicable.
• 🚫 You cannot place Stargate bases on:
  • ECC
  • ECC Space
  • CSW
  • Starter Systems
• 🌍 Stargates are open to everyone by default. Admins can restrict usage by Origin, e.g., only Fighters can use a gate — others will see it marked red.
• 📶 There is no range limit for Stargate linking.
• 🔒 Once linked:
  • Do not rename the base or portal
  • Do not move the Stargate device

Any change will break the connection permanently
