EGS Insurance

💡 How It Works

Insure your structures: Click the Save Template button in your structures' Control Panel (mandatory to be able to use EGS Insurance).

When a structure is destroyed or lost, use the egs:insurance:[id]:[lock-code] command (or Use Insurance in the structure's Manage menu on HWS Connect > Structure Commander).

The insured structure will be restored and temporarily set to HWS faction.

Once restored, use the egs:insurance:claim:[id] command with the new structure's ID to transfer it back to your faction/private.

During the claim step, the RepairToTemplate blocks are removed and for those credits/HWS DNA you paid earlier are refunded.

💡 Keep in mind that you must be on the same playfield as the lost structure.

⚠️ Important Notes

Your levels are seasonal and reset with each full wipe.

You must have the structure's lock code to start a claim.

Insurance now follows a two-step process:

Step 1: egs:insurance:[id]:[lock-code] restores the structure under HWS faction.
Step 2: egs:insurance:claim:[id] finalizes the claim with the new structure ID, removes RepairToTemplate blocks, and refunds the costs.

The restored structure receives a new ID, which must be used in the claim step.

The original structure is removed from the system during the process (no duplication).

All container contents are wiped.

The new structure is spawned directly above your character if you were in the same playfield — ensure there's space. Otherwise, fly to its last known position.

You must be in the same playfield and location the structure was destroyed.

If your structure was cored by another player, you can't claim your insurance. For arranged PvP fights, agree not to core each other's ships so both can claim insurance.

Never ever set 0 or 00 or 000 or 0000 as lock code for your Template! It won't work.
