The HWS Guide is easier to search and browse, and Patreon tiers are more reliable when your Patreon login expires. If you lost your tier after the site launch, it can now be restored automatically.
The HWS Guide is easier to search and browse
The Guide search bar is now on every page, and searches with several words can still find useful results when no single section matches every word. Section pages now show their full introductions, with headings you can jump to and the section's pages listed below.
- Guide page titles now appear consistently without leading or trailing emoji; section names keep their icons.
- If you're a guide editor, Edit page lets you edit a page right where you read it.
Patreon: your tier stays up to date
A Patreon login expiring no longer takes away your tier if Patreon still shows you as a paying member. If your tier was dropped since the site launched, it can be restored the next time you open HWS Connect+.
- A cancelled or declined pledge still sets your tier to "No". If Patreon can't be reached, your tier stays as it is until the next check.
- In the rare case that your Patreon membership can't be checked, you'll be asked to link Patreon again. Your tier is kept for 14 days while you do: the Patron page shows a Link your Patreon account again banner and you get an Inbox message. Details in the HWS Patreon guide.
